Mali : a great country
Location :
Located in west africa Mali has got seven border
countries such as Mauritania,
Senegal, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso,
Niger and Algeria.
Population :
About eleven millions Inhabitants and two millions of them are living in capital city Bamako.
Country divided in eight administrative states.
Climate :
Rainy season : from july to septembre
Cold season : min 18°C from. october to februar
Hot season : from. march to june
Between october and march this is the best time to visit Mali.
Religion :
Islam is the main religion with 80% of population.
Christians represent only
10% about. Animism is also very important to believe in.
Languages :
French is official language. Elimination of illiteracy’s rate is evaluated
to 40%. Bambara is the ordinary language of the capital city.
Each ethnos has got its own dialect for exemple :
Peul, Sonrai, Dogon….
